RULES:

  • Dance studio doors open 15min before the first hour begins and closes 15min after the last hour.
  • The studio will not be liable for unnecessary lessons if the student’s contact information is not up to date. Please inform Marjo of any changes of address, etc. 🙂
  • In order to avoid accidents, the teacher may forbid a late student to enter the class.
  • During teaching hours (3-9pm) please contact Marjo via text message.
  • Students must have their own accident or leisure insurance in case of accidents.
  • Long hair is held. Jewelry, watches and chewing gum are left on the dressing room and the cellphone is kept silent. It is good to bring your personal belongings along the edge of the dancing hall. Studio does not take responsibility for lost items.
  • The student place is personal.
  • Autumn enrollment is also valid for the spring semester, unless the student states otherwise.
  • If absenteeism has accumulated and the pupil has a desire to make up for it, the pupil (after first agreeing with the teacher) may attend his / her own level or lower level classes to compensate. However, it is important to check that the hour lengths match. The right to reimbursement is valid until the end of the month / semester / academic year, depending on invoicing.
  • Pupils who have been absent for a long time will check for changes in the timetable.
  • Long-term illnesses are only returned against your medical certificate, by reducing your current or future monthly fee, or by reducing your next tuition fee. The medical certificate should be delivered to Marjo as soon as it enters into force.
  • Losses of dance hours due to holidays will be compensated by the pupil at other classes of his / her own choice.
  • In the open week, the reimbursements for classes are subject to separate agreement.
  • Monthly fees must be announced in writing two weeks prior to the beginning of the month to be canceled.
  • Tuition fees cannot be withdrawn during the semester. The tuition fee is binding.
  • Cancellations and/or restrictions related to teaching and its organization that are independent of the Tanssistudio, unforeseen or caused by force majeure will not be reimbursed by Tanssistudio. For example, in the event of a situation such as COVID-19, Tanssistudio is not obliged to compensate for lost student fees and lessons. The situation may change in this respect if the insurance arrangements of the Tanssistudio allow it. There is currently no insurance coverage available for this kind of situation. However, the aim is to organize basic art education online, for example, if a situation like the one mentioned above is repeated.
  • The curriculum for basic art education is available at Tanssistudio. If you are interested, please contact Marjo.
  • Tanssistudio strives to be active in various events and competitions. At that time, the Studio is mainly represented by a production group or children’s / teen competition groups.
  • Tanssistudio reserves the right to make changes to the rules.
  • Possible announcements and announcements regarding hours / hour changes and upcoming events will be given to the pupil in writing during the lesson or electronically / by post if the pupil is not reached at the studio.
